"Dance Like No One Is Watching!"
We've all heard this expression, but have you taken into consideration what it really means? It is a saying that promotes self-confidence. It reinforces the idea that a person who is able to eliminate the feelings of judgement from others can focus on the pleasure found in dancing. Nobody will be watching you on Tuesday night, unless you ask them too. We are all there for the same reasons: practice and self-improvement!
Practice is essential to learning to dance as it is in everything. You can't take a lesson and expect to know the figures or steps. Gold Star Ballroom is available to you on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 PM.
Some more experienced dancers volunteer their time to be there for you to help review what you've learned during the Monday night classes. Or you can be on your own and practice as you wish.
If you pay for the 4 beginner group classes on the first Monday of the month, you get FREE entry into the Tuesday night practices during that month.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OR HAVE TAKEN ANY GROUP LESSONS TO ATTEND. Practice night is open to the general public. This is your time to PRACTICE for only $5.00 per person, if your entry is not free. :)
So, join us for Tuesday Night Practice Night sponsored by the Greater Daytona Chapter USA Dance #6026.
Dancers helping Dancers. Practice your steps on the roomy floor or step into the Krupa Cabana for a little privacy. Be sure to let us know the dances you are working on. We are happy to take requests.
